So far, I really enjoy Hunger Games. I would have to say that I can really understand some of the reasons why Peeta did what he did. If I had seen my mother yell at a child trying to find food, I would intentionally ruin bread to give to them also, even though I would have been beaten. Also, when he pretended to be in love with Katniss to try to help them get more sponsors, I would have done the same thing. At first, I was very confused when Peeta joined with the Careers, but I realized then that he did it to help protect himself and Katniss. If I were in the games with someone from my district and I knew them, I would also act as though I’m on a different team so that the person from the same district as me and I can have an extra few days of survival.
